B. Regional and State Talent Search Summer Programs
Educational programs are offered for academically talented students often beginning in the 2nd grade all the way through senior high school. The best-known talent search programs are the following, but many states and colleges also offer them as well.

• Northwestern University Center for Talent Development

C. Internships
Internships are a wonderful way of finding out more about a subject or cause, or to test whether or not you want to work in a specific subject area. Here are some of the organizations that provide internships for high school students:
