DEFINITION of AP tests (Advanced Placement):
College Board has developed 34 college level courses
and exams that are offered at high schools in the US
and other parts of the world. Through two to three
hour AP exams offered in May of every year, students
have the possibility of earning college credit or advanced standing at US colleges.
AP tests are score on a numerical scale of 1 to 5:
5 = Extremely well-qualified
4 = Well-qualified
3 = Qualified
2 = Possibly qualified
1 = No recommendation
